See you again in the next contest. 🙂
Been busy on the vhf bands doing eme and stuff the last year or so, have not done HF CW in the last six months or so. Last night I heard #WPXCW was on, could not resist participating a bit.
This is not unusual at all, but it is very unfortunate.
Currently the local ambient noise level is 4 or 5 dB higher then I can tolerate.
I simply cannot hear anything of the moon at this noise level.
I am standing by, and hoping it will go away.
Will be participating in the ARRL EME 50 to 1296 MHz Contest this weekend. My band will be 144MHz in digital mode only. I have been working on giving my QRPp setup a 3dB boost for this weekend, but I had to abandon this due to mechanical difficulties. (Antenna staking hardware was not strong enough to hold the antennas straight, back to the drawing board I guess.) 🙂 My setup: Band: 144, mode: digital, antenna: 13,4dBd, power: 100-150w Good luck all!
